Extended family shoots are always a treat for me. To see the generations come together -with all their differences and similarities. I like to think that my parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc., passed more on to me than just high blood-pressure. I know that they’ve conquered things in their lifetime, so that I don’t have to have that same struggle.

It’s easier to know where you’re going, when you can see where you came from.

I met Darnelle 7ish years ago. But lost touch until more recently. It was so great meeting her Dad (Dave), stepmom (Wanda), husband (Jon), and son (Damon). I loved watching them interact. You could tell where Darnelle got her playful side from. And how she passed that on to her son. Fun people make fun kids. There’s no way around it.

Seeing as Damon is full of energy, we quickly got the traditional shots done, so we could go play! The last set of shots are my fave. Enjoy.
