Spent the early evening with a bunch of fantastic young ladies at Matsqui Stables. Here is the first of two sessions there. Check back at the end of August for more horsey-photo-fun.

The Pues Part II

You may remember a while back I posted photos of little baby Hadden… well, now here is the whole gang!
Love love love this family. The busy boys, the helpless babe, and the parents taking it all in. Kids always make photo shoots more interesting! You can only plan so much.. and I love to let them inspire me. Challenge me. Exhaust me! They have me singing ridiculous songs in my not-so-famous opera voice, dancing, running backwards — nearly anything to get the shot.
The first go at the “hug shot”, turned into more of a schoolyard chokehold.
The second try? Yes. Much better.
By this point, the kids were done done done. So, we took some time to focus on mom and dad. The result? You decide.

James & Heidi

I met Heidi and James a few months ago at Eastgate. Sometimes you know you’ll click with people before you barely even know them. For me – it was like that with them. They’re fun, laugh at my jokes, and love The Office. What more could I want from a friendship?? I was DE-lighted when they asked me to do their maternity shots. Heidi is now 33 weeks and counting. Can’t wait to meet the little babers and snap it’s photos.
I told them that their faces weren’t in the next shot, so they could relax. I lied. And I’m so glad I did.
