I think most people are lazy in these wintery days. I know I have been. One thing I love about the slow times are all the moments I can spend dreaming. What I want the future of my business to look like. Maybe a team of photographers, destination weddings, and the studio I want to build… but on shoots like this, I am so happy I don’t have that studio. Because, really, look at this building! I will admit that I squealed like a school girl when I found it. An abandoned greenhouse. Beauty. Of course, it helps to have a stunning, fabulous woman to shoot!
Chantel contacted me about giving her husband photos for Valentines Day. I’m posting all the “family friendly” images here, the rest are for Zane’s eyes only. **wink wink**
My favorite of the day.
Chantel, thanks for asking me to be apart of this! I think if I had six kids, and looked this hot, I’d want to be on your side of the camera more often.

A couple months back I sponsored a battle of the bands. The winning group won a shoot with yours truly. I love photographing artists. They’re different. Quirky. Especially the members of Oh No! Yoko. These guys were loads of fun, and I’m sure their shows reflect that. So when the wintery weather chilled out a bit, we hit the downtown hard. Tried a couple different spots. One in particular, I feared a little for my life, alright well, that’s a little extreme… but I did fear for the well being of my car. Happy to say, we are all all A-Okay, and the shots are even better!
Truth be told, the dirtier the spot, the more I love the images.
Here’s my faves from one of the spots:
I couldn’t choose between these two. Both DEFINITELY show their personalities.
Oh No! Yoko, I’m looking forward to buying your album in 2011. You guys are awesome.
